This 'Anu' Sofa is a unique, handcrafted piece by Ayala Serfaty and the largest work in the 'Rapa' series to date. World-renowned for her ‘SOMA’ series (her "clouds"), Ayala Serfaty has developed since 2010 a collection of seats made of wool, linen and silk fibres which she carefully gathers from all over the world. Work by the artist is notably included in the permanent collections of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris as well as the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Arts and Design in New York.
Anu is a unique, contemporary, handcrafted sofa created by internationally recognized designer Ayala Serfaty. Conceived as both a functional piece of furniture and a sculptural artwork, Anu embodies the philosophy of collectible design — where comfort, craftsmanship, and artistic expression converge.
Handmade using nuno felt, the sofa features a soft yet structured organic form inspired by natural landscapes and tactile surfaces. Yes. We ship worldwide and, in most cases, use DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipping. This means that standard duties and taxes are already taken care of before the artwork reaches you.
In rare cases — usually for high-value artworks — local authorities may apply additional requirements. If that happens, we’ll guide you personally.
