Challenge
Safi, a coastal city in Morocco, has been severely impacted by deadly floods that caused loss of life and widespread destruction. Heavy rainfall overwhelmed infrastructure, flooding homes and streets, and leaving many families suddenly without shelter, food, clothing, or basic hygiene facilities. Entire households lost their belongings overnight and now face unsafe living conditions and urgent humanitarian needs. Immediate emergency aid is critical to protect lives and restore dignity.
Challenge

Heavy rainfall overwhelmed infrastructure, flooding homes and streets, and leaving many families suddenly without shelter, food, clothing, or basic hygiene facilities. Solution
In response, JOOD has mobilized its teams to deliver immediate, on-the-ground emergency aid. This campaign aims to: Distribute 500 food kits Provide 500 essential furniture kits Deliver 500 essential kitchenware and hygiene kits Distribute 2,500 new clothing and footwear kits Prepare and distribute 10,000 hot, balanced meals By acting quickly, without intermediaries, and in coordination with local actors, we will meet urgent needs, protect health, and help families regain safety and dignity.
Long-Term Impact
Beyond emergency relief, this project helps stabilize flood-affected families and prevent deeper vulnerability. By meeting basic needs quickly, it reduces health risks, limits displacement, and supports a faster return to safe living conditions. This response also strengthens local solidarity and community resilience, helping families recover with dignity and rebuild their lives after the crisis.
